Jann began her professional career at eight years old as a dancer in various performances at Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri. She followed her passion for performance and became a member of the first team of Chiefettes for the Kansas City Chiefs. To further her experience, Jann trained with Shirley Marley and was mentored by the incomparable Gus Giordano.   Thirty One years ago Jann debuted Wynn Twins School of Dance, her Christian rooted dance studio located in Raytown, Missouri. Her exceptional dance team has achieved the honor of National Champions since 1983 from Dance America. Former Wynn Twins students have successfully pursued careers in professional dance and theatre performing on Broadway, television and film. Jann is pleased to instruct and nurture the community youth through dance and performance and is presently hosting a second generation of dancers.

 Senior Instructor and Choreographer

Pamela has been a teacher at Wynn Twins for over 20 years. She began dancing as a child, and has had the good fortune to make dance her career and her life. Pamela received her early training at various studios throughout Missouri. She danced her way through high school musicals, talent shows and various pageants, culminating with the Miss America’s Miss Missouri Pageant in 1974. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in dance from UMKC in 1978, where she trained under Tatiana Dokoudovska, Winifred Widener, Shirley Weaver, Dennis Landsman and Claudia Edwards. Pamela danced in the Moulin Rouge Theatre at Worlds of Fun for two seasons, Starlight Theatre’s productions of “Blackstone Magic Snow” & “Desert Song”, and was also a Kansas City Chiefette. In 1986 she moved to Orlando, Florida with her family. She taught dance at a local studio until 1988 when she was cast in the Diamond Horseshoe Revue at Walt Disney World as a dancer and singer, a role that she filled for the subsequent four years. She also danced at Rosie O’Grady’s at Church Street Station and in various convention shows. In 1992 Pamela returned to Kansas City and Wynn Twins, where she has had the privilege of teaching and mentoring thousands of aspiring young dancers in the ensuing 16 years. “One of my favorite things is watching the expressions on the faces of the new little ones as they do their first recital.”

 Team Dance Instructor

Holli Jo Hoette (Heston) began her dance career at the age of 3 at Wynn Twins School of Dance. Holli Jo joined the dance team at the age of seven and while on team she won several national championships and overall high scores at Dance America. Holli also attended Jazz Dance World Congress in 2002 and 2005. She was a three-year member of the Raytown South Cardettes, serving as Captain her senior year. Her junior year she won 1st place in her solo and was named top high school dancer in the Kansas City Metro area. Holli Jo then received a scholarship to dance for William Jewell College. During her time at William Jewell, Holli Jo competed at four UDA Nationals, televised on ESPN. She also worked for Spirit Works, under Linda Rae Chappell judging high school dance team tryouts and competitions throughout the metro area. She was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, Zeta Rho chapter at William Jewell, serving as Recruitment chair. Holli Jo graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with emphasis in Entrepreneurial Leadership, and a minor in physical education. In 2010, she returned to Wynn Twins to teach tap, jazz, ballet and hip-hop. She enjoys working with the dance team and helping them grow into creative young individuals.

Sheldon Ledbetter – Choreographer

Sheldon Ledbetter has began dancing at the dance school since he was 4 years old. At age 6 he officially became a member of the Wynn Twins Dance Team. During the summer of 2011 he won the award of “Summer National Campion” resulting in him winning $1000 and graciously sharing with his dance teacher. He’s currently a junior at Northwest Missouri State University majoring in Interactive Digital Media with a concentration in Computer Science. He is a choreographer of the Northwest Dance Company. Sheldon loves what he does and hopes to do it the rest of his life.
